Fake Moon landing conspiracy theory
After astronauts had landed on the moon during Apollo 11 theories started popping up whether the Moon landing was faked. People noted that the American Flag is blowing even when there is no wind. Or why there shadows come from different angles if there on the moon. Or the C rock (pictures below)

C rock marked to help stage crew move props to the right place. 2 photo shows no stars where are they ? 3rd photo shows the shadows coming at different angles why would they if the sun is casting them ? 4th photo shows the American flag flapping on the moon when there is no moon. Than the last two show the stage it was shot on.
Stanley Kubrick helped fake it
Room 237
This theory states that Stanley Kubrick helped the U.S government fake the Apollo 11 Moon landings, in the movie The Shining the new room number is 237 in the book the number is 217. This theory states that Stanley dropped hints in to tell people that the moon landings were fake since the moon is 237,000 miles away hence the room name 237.
Why there wrong
An In Depth Explanation
The C rock is more likely a hair or particle than a C in the wide shot its not there.
No stars, actually there are the camera couldn't pick them up from the light reflecting off the moon.
Weird shadows, the moon is not perfectly flat so it will distort the shadows and make them look wonky.
The flag blowing, its because of the wires in the flag moving from the lack of gravity on the moon, when it moves the astronauts are moving it to dig it further into the ground.
The last two photos are probably fake staged photos or faked.
Stanley Kubrick helping, no why the number was changed was by the order of the hotel used for the outside shots they had a room 217 but not a room 237 they did not want guest scared to stay in room 217 which they had.
